Annuals vs Perennials: What's the Difference?
Annuals complete their life cycle within one year. They have an extended blooming period and can be planted in beds, baskets, pots and containers.
Perennials have a life span of two or more years and are usually more hardy than annuals. They have a stronger root system and even help with erosion. Perennials make an excellent foundation for beds and landscaping.
